Can I Change My Benefits During the Year?
Qualifying life events include, but are not limited to:
- Birth or adoption of child
- Marriage, divorce, or legal separation
- Change in eligibility or employment status
- Death of your spouse or covered child
- Loss of other health coverage
You must notify Human Resources and submit your changes in the enrollment platform, Benefitsolver, within 30 days of the qualifying event. You will need to provide documentation of the event, such as a marriage license, divorce decree, or birth certificate. All benefit changes must be consistent with the qualifying event.
How Can I Save Money with Tax-Free Accounts (FSAs and HSA)?
Keep more of your paycheck by using pre-tax FSA and HSA dollars to pay for eligible expenses.
For 2026, the contribution limits are:
- Health care FSA: $3,400
- Dependent care FSA: $7,500
- HSA for individuals: $4,400
- HSA for families: $8,750
Contribution limits are set annually by the IRS.
