Leaves of Absence

Financial Security

Our various leave of absence programs provide financial security when you need to be away from work for more than five days. From the birth of a baby or a serious medical condition, 8×8 provides protection for you. Contact The Larkin Company to learn more about these types of leave.

Disability Leave

If you’re away from work longer than seven days as a result of a medical emergency, surgery, illness or childbirth (including pregnancy disability and postpartum recovery), you may be eligible for short and long-term disability leave.

Please note, if you reside in a state with a Disability program, 8×8 policies will supplement funds you receive from your state to receive the full benefit.

Parental Leave

If you have been with 8×8 for at least 12 months, you can take up to 8 weeks off at 100% of your pay to bond with a child following birth or adoption. For birth givers this is in addition to the Disability leave.

Please note, if you reside in a state with a Paid Family Leave program, 8×8 policies will supplement funds you receive from your state to receive the full benefit.
