Time Off
Work-Life Balance
As a part of our work-life balance priority, we offer our employees two flexible time off programs, paid holidays, and other types of time off.
Paid Time Off (PTO) for Non-Exempt Employees
Full-time non-exempt employees are eligible to accrue PTO after successfully completed one full payroll period of employment. Employees are encouraged to use all earned PTO each year. Accrued but unused PTO carries over from year to year, but the maximum amount of accrued PTO an employee may have at any time is 300 hours. If the employee’s earned but unused PTO reaches the maximum, the employee will not accrue any additional PTO until the balance falls below the maximum.
Years of Service | PTO Accrual Per Year |
PTO Accrual Per Pay Period |
---|---|---|
0-5 | 120 hours (3 weeks) | 4.62 hours |
6-10 | 160 hours (4 weeks) | 6.16 hours |
11+ | 200 hours (5 weeks) | 7.70 hours |
Flexible Time Off (FTO) for Exempt Employees
Our FTO program gives exempt employees the flexibility to take time off when needed, without worrying about accruing hours. FTO is not intended to be used in place of a leave of absence or to extend a leave of absence. You may use only five business days at the beginning of a Short-Term Disability to offset the waiting period. Refer to our leave of absence page for more information.

Jury Duty
It is Company policy to enable its employees to fulfill their civic obligations. When an employee is call to serve on jury duty, the employee is requested to notify his/her immediate supervisor promptly, submit a jury duty request in the time and attendance system, and provide a copy of the summons to serve to Human Resources. All regular Full-Time employees will be paid their regular wages during the active period of jury duty up to a maximum of twenty (20) working days each calendar year. Any time served by the employee beyond this 20-day period shall be without pay unless the employee has available and approved FTO (or banked PTO) (if Exempt) or accrued PTO (if Non-Exempt). However, the salary of Exempt employees will not be reduced for any week in which they perform any work, even if they miss part of the week due to jury duty.
Employees will be permitted to retain the allowance received from the court for such service. Employees other than regular Full-Time employees will be provided time off spend on jury duty and will be compensated on a pro rata basis. In addition, employees may receive time off without pay if they are served with a subpoena to appear a witness in a case to which they are not a party. All employee benefits the employee is enrolled in will continue while the employee is on jury or witness duty leave to the extent permitted by the applicable plans and law. Thereafter, however, the employee will be required to continue payment of any required contributions for insured benefits and retirement benefits during such duty leave if he/she chooses to keep them in eff An employee should bring the jury duty summons or witness subpoena to his or her supervisor or to Human Resources as soon as possible after it is received so that arrangements can be made to accommodate the employee’s absence. Proof of service must be submitted to Human Resources when the period of jury duty or witness service is completed.
