Liviniti (formerly known as Southern Scripts) is our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) that provides access to a network of retail and mail order pharmacies, as well as processes and pays prescription drug claims.

IMPORTANT: In order for claims to be processed appropriately, they must be sent to Liviniti. Information for Liviniti is located on the back of your medical ID card.

Mail Order
If you are taking a maintenance medication the Liviniti Postal Prescription Services is for you. Take advantage of paying one less copay, a 90-day supply and getting your prescriptions sent directly to your home. Covered Medications
Many preventive medication and preventive maintenance medications are available at no cost to you, even if you are enrolled in the 8×8 PPO Plan with HSA. Please see the list of zero cost medications HERE.

Variable Copay Program
This program is available under the 8×8 program in an effort to significantly reduce costs on eligible specialty and brand medications. If you are taking an eligible medication, you will receive an enrollment letter and a phone call to enroll in the program.

Prior Authorization
You may notice some new protocols as it relates to prior authorization when it comes to certain classes of medications. These authorizations are intended to ensure clinical appropriateness of their intended use.
